Excellent service at the bar!

Bathroom had terrible mildew odor. We reported it to the staff and requested they replace the dirty shower curtain but they did not respond.

This place is clean and in a wonderful location in a walkable area, with air-conditioned rooms and outstanding meals at the bar.

Modern bathroom facilities. Very clean. Nice continental breakfast. Staff tried to accomodate for no place to sit (other than on bed) by bringing up a small chair, but not very comfortable. Great location.

We booked a king room for 3 days and requested a shower and not a tub as we are not able to step up over a tub. At check-in, we were told that they had no more rooms with showers and we would have to stay in a room with a tub. They then found us a queen room with a shower. The room very small. No place to sit other than on bed. No compensation was made for the smaller room and we were charged the rate for the king room.

A bit too noisy, seemed to be some kids close to out room and we could hear everything. Doors in adjacent rooms closed loudly. Ran out of hot water during the second shower.

The room was beautifully decorated with magnificent views, a Nespresso machine, USB ports, and an iron, making it a comfortable and convenient stay.

This hotel has all the charm of a bed and breakfast combined with the high end amenities one would expect of a hotel. The room was huge and the bed was so comfortable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The decor and atmosphere are a wonderful blend of traditional and modern. Also, the free parking and proximity to restaurants, local shopping and the train into downtown Philly were a big plus. The i-pod doc was a nice touch.

If anything, I would have liked to see more savory/healthy (non-sweet) offerings for breakfast. For instance, some plain, unsweetened yogurt, and other protein such as cheese or cold cuts, in addition to the hard- boiled eggs, which were nice. Also, some fresh fruit (don't remember seeing anything besides the fruit salad, which may have been canned, or had some canned elements).

The rooms here are consistently top-notch. They are cozy and come with super soft sheets already on the bed. Plus, they have toys and games available for guests to use 🎲.

Bed was comfortable, room small, no laundry bag.

This hotel is situated in a very pleasant residential area to the north of Philadelphia, with many good shops and restaurants within walking distance. It is also very convenient for taking the train into the city centre, taking less than 30 minutes. Bathroom had been recently refurbished and was excellent.

Bedroom very small by American standards and the breakfast might have included fresh fruit. There can be late-night noise from the adjacent Sidewalk Cafe.

This place has a great location near several excellent restaurants, including Barry's Buns which is just a 5-minute walk from here.

We travelled to the area for a funeral. Your hotel was convenient to every place we needed to be. We appreciate the responsiveness of Lorraine (asst mngr) and the flexiblity Troy (mngr) to an issue we had regarding the room rate. We would definitely stay at your hotel when we next return to the area.

The staff is very helpful. The hotel has been recently renovated and has been beautifully done. It has all the amenities that you could want including free WI-FI access and continental breakfast. The rates are reasonable. If you are going to visit downtown Philadelphia it would be much more pleasant and less expensive to stay at the Chestnut Hill Hotel and take the train (20 min ride) into the City.
